Your Life is Awesome
The creator of this universe came up with a fantastic idea.
The idea was you.
When your creator decided to create you there was a celebration. I can see the angels and beings of light just throwing a party, because your creator said it was time for you to exist.
There has never been a time when your creator has not existed, and there has never been a time when you have not existed.
That means that before our planet existed, before our sun existed, you existed. In the spiritual realm you have been floating around waiting for the perfect time to inhabit a human body. I do not have any direct knowledge that proves that you choose your body, but I have heard several spiritual masters say that we do. Again, I have no idea.
What I do know is that you were destined to be here now.
If anyone ever told you that you were an accident, or that you should not have been born they are wrong.
You are a magnificent miracle that has always been destined to be here. The timing had to be right to get you in this body at this time in history. You were not dumped off in the wrong century, or in the wrong family, or in the wrong skin color.
Everything about you is the way it’s supposed to be. Your life may not look the way you want it to. It may be quite disagreeable to you. It may be painful for you.
I learned years ago that I do not understand God. I don’t understand why there are starving children in the world. I don’t understand why there is poverty for millions of people. I don’t understand why anyone gets cancer. There are so many things I will never understand.
It’s a complete mystery.
I will probably never understand why I was born when I was, or why I have had the problems I have had in my own life. I may understand it someday, but it almost doesn’t matter if I ever figure it all out.
It is the mysteries of life that keep me engaged.
How boring it would be if I had it all figured out. What would be the point of living another day if I understood everything already. I would have no reason to get out of bed let alone do anything for the rest of the day.
Here is what I do understand.
You are a miracle. You are an astonishing, magnificent, radiant, loving, and brilliant result of billions of years of evolution. It took billions of years to form who you are. You are the product of the evolution that has been taking place since the dinosaurs roamed the land.
You are priceless.
As you go throughout your day, I want you to realize that your soul has come to your body at this time to do a magnificent work. That work is to love yourself with all the energy you can muster. Care for yourself and treat yourself like the amazing human being that you are.
I hope you take this message to heart, and that you can embrace this truth.
I am not telling you anything new today. You just needed a little reminder. That’s why you are reading this.
